In the ceramic foam material, the lab also carried out some research process. Mainly through the test to verify the effect of different process parameters on the properties of ceramic foam filter, find the perfect technology, reasonable parameters, to improve the filter performance and the production of zirconia ceramic foam filter filtration temperature higher, filtration of liquid steel and high temperature alloy. The test results show that the:

2) ZrO2 ceramic foam filter (sintering aids for Al2O3) ceramic powder proportion was: w (ZrO2) =80%, w (Al2O3) =20%;

3) increase the compressive strength of foam ceramics with Al2O3 content increasing, but when the Al2O3 content reached 10% compressive strength of slow growth;

4) increase the flexural strength of ceramic foam with Al2O3 content increasing, but when the Al2O3 content reached 20% bending strength peak value, then decreases with the increase of Al2O3 content;

5) in sintering process of heating system is the key, should adopt the slow heating system. The sintering rate are as follows: 500 DEG 1~2 DEG /min; more than 500 DEG to 3 DEG C /min.
